For the last ten years, I worked closely across various teams at Meta, Microsoft, and Expedia Group in several different roles spanning communication, program, and project management. The below information demonstrates my experience in organizing programs and processes, implementing change management initiatives, and managing communication strategy improvements.


Microsoft

Identified trends and patterns in data and provided actionable insights to team members and leadership with visuals and presentations.

  • Implemented a new Excel dashboard to support better decision-making and strategic planning.

Meta

Managed the interviewer training and capacity program by optimizing programs and solutions that improved interviewer efficiency.

  • Created and launched three automated interviewer training eLearns which helped to grow our interviewer pool and increase the velocity of training.

  • Established a new assessment tool to monitor, track, and field questions on interviewer training.

  • Created a monthly cadence for delivering metrics and insights which helped to drive strategic decision-making and improve processes.

  • Developed new communication and engagement strategies and created written content and posts to share across multiple platforms and channels.


Microsoft

Maintained our readiness program by prioritizing projects, highlighting risks, coordinating tasks, and creating content.

  • I improved the video engagement process by creating a new process for better workflow and stakeholder engagement.


Expedia Group

Communication Strategy and Management

1. I developed a new communication strategy with a goal of keeping teams engaged and informed of company-wide information and events. This new communication strategy resulted in the team delivering work in a more efficient way.

  • I implemented new and organized processes with the goal of driving employee morale, awareness, and a better understanding of the eCP strategy. 

  • I improved the overall design of the weekly eCP newsletter which is sent to over 4,000 employees worldwide.

  • I organized processes and decreased redundancies by streamlining content calendars and creating asset libraries.

2. I distributed the monthly recruiting newsletter with a goal of driving engagement while communicating updated processes, enhancements, development opportunities, and more.

  • I took over the TA newsletter in 2017 and drove open rates from 34% to 76%.

  • I introduced video campaigns and

    created a new visual design and layout.

  • I worked with several stakeholders to curate content and meet deadlines.

  • I produced written and digital content with a goal of creating thoughtful and useful communications.

3. I encouraged internal movement and increased awareness and excitement around the Employee Referral Program by sending Jobs Just In (JJI). This was a weekly newsletter sent to 24,000 employees globally and a 72% open rate.

  • I inherited Jobs Just In in 2016 where I added more content, introduced video campaigns, and created a new visual design and layout.

  • In 2018, I improved the visual design and updated the content to ensure it followed Expedia Group’s new branding guidelines.

  • I worked with technical teams to automate the newsletter process, saving 5 hours of manual work each week.

Campaign and Product Management

4. I owned continual enhancements to lifeatexpedia.com and ensured the site aligned with brand messaging and attracted top talent.

  • I launched the very first external careers blog in October 2018 to promote Expedia Group’s employer brand, improve talent engagement, and increase organic search traffic.

  • Planned, executed, and tracked different milestones with little budget.

  • I managed the content calendar for the blog, curated content, produced copy, and used WordPress to design the site.

Change Management

5. I cross-collaborated with stakeholders and business partners on multiple programs and change management initiatives.

  • I instituted a hiring culture strategy so employees and managers understood the importance of establishing a personal brand and enhancing their LinkedIn profiles in order to promote Expedia Group as a great place to work.

  • I managed the LinkedIn Elevate program and communication strategy where I increased social sharing and drove brand awareness by making it easy for employees to discover and share content through Elevate.

Events and Training

6. I organized and delivered several trainings to HR/Recruiting partners, managers, new employees, and other stakeholders.

  • I facilitated and planned quarterly All-Hands meetings and monthly new hire trainings for over 250 Talent Acquisition employees and leaders.

  • I presented monthly NEO trainings to all new hires joining Expedia Group by welcoming them and giving them a company overview.

  • I organized quarterly LinkedIn workshops on how to develop an Expedia Group presence on LinkedIn. The events were extremely successful with 94% average attendance rate and a 91% average satisfaction.

Program Management

7. I improved candidate experience and optimized recruiter productivity by implementing and overseeing various programs and projects.

  • I managed the background check program and implemented the global rollout of our new background check vendor.

  • I launched a new digital interviewing program where I influenced change management, drove initiatives, and encouraged user adoption.
